I'm studying for a master's in data science at HES-SO, after finishing my bachelor's in Information Systems and Communications with an average of 5.5 out of 6. I wrote my bachelor thesis as a traveling researcher at ATR in Kyoto, looking at how numerical noise affects brain imaging results. Before that, I spent a year building web applications.

How much do tiny floating-point differences change the results of a brain imaging study? I reproduced the NPVR analysis by perturbing the entire fMRIPrep pipeline, then extended it to individual connectivity edges and to PCA-based depression biomarkers.
